Let us entertain you this Winter

Here at Hucksters, the Mont Blanc Lodge and Petit Mont Blanc crew in Vallandry know that the day doesn’t finish when the lifts close.

This winter season is all about having the time of our lives. We want our guests to join in too, and with this crazy crew, it’s so easy to entertain everyone that comes to visit from school groups, small groups and families to stag parties and couples. Ski right back to the front door at the end of the day and join us for fun and laughs in the evenings before and after dinner.

Taking part is what counts, but of course there are prizes to win, many laughs to be had, and many friendships to make by joining in our evening treats. Each week is different and tailored to our guests so that the MOST fun can be had by all. A typical week looks something like this!

Sundays... We get our new guests settled in by mixing up the tables after dinner and testing their knowledge with our Lodge Quiz. Everything from history and literature to sport and showbiz depending on which of the crew becomes quizmaster for the night. We know that winning isn’t all about knowledge, so the best team name also gets rewarded and the crew take choosing the worthy team very seriously.

Monday... is all about the mountains and we get the crew up to the Trois Saveur (3 Flavours) snack shack for the last run of the day with guests followed by an apres drink. There's no better view than watching the sunset over a 360-degree view across the valley. Each week the view changes with the weather, but it is always amazing - as are the guests that join us for the twilight ski! If you're interested in experiencing the wonderful sites yourself, make sure to check out our Les Arcs ski holidays for a great and cheap ski holiday deal.

Tuesday... Once a week the crew get the night off giving guests the perfect opportunity to experience dinner in one of the local restaurants in Vallandry, Les Arcs. We are fortunate to be located right next door to the best bar in town (Mont Blanc Bar) that hosts the mon ‘taking the piste’ comedy club tour. Alternatively we create an event night of our own; pyjama party, glitter party or sports night ... either way it’s all good fun and full of great laughs and memories for the team.

Wednesdays... We head back out to the mountain in the afternoon for apres at the Arpette Bar. An awesome place with a great party atmosphere. In the evening it's back to our dining room for more brain testing games with 'Scatagories' or 'music bingo' with songs from the eras. Dancing and singing along is always encouraged and followed by the epic BAND NIGHT. Guests of all ages get to fill the dance floor of the Mont Blanc Bar with the crew and rock out to their favourite tunes!

Thursday is all about fancy dress. Everyone is invited to join the crew in their best french inspired outfit. Think stripey t-shirts, berets and garlic necklaces. With a menu full of traditional french delicacies including french onion soup and tartiflette, the evening continues with beer (or gin, wine and squash) pong to keep the party going into the night.

Friday... To end the week it is only right to send guests off together with our crew for Happy Hour in the Mont Blanc Bar for farewell drinks. It's nice to hear guests reminicising about their favourite holiday memories of the week before supper and an early night. Saturdays are all about transfers from 4.30am and changeovers ready for new guests - although it has been known for them to be led astray by guests that just can’t resist one last party night!

We are whizzing through this season and with almost 10 weeks to go until the lifts close, there is just enough time to squeeze in a fun packed budget skiing holiday for yourself if you'd love to come out and enjoy some powder. We have some availability for 23rd and 30th March, so if you'd like to book please contact us for more details.

The staff were more like friends than employees and knew the area very well. Can't fault them. They sorted an issue with my wife's ski pass with as little stress as was possible. To start your day of skiing one had only to walk about 20m from the door, pop your skis on and off you go. You could eit...
