5 of the Coolest Restaurants in Vallandry, Les Arcs

When you make the decision to book budget ski holidays, Christmas or not, heading to the Les Arcs ski region should always be high on the list. The village of Vallandry helps make up the six-village ski region, and is positioned in the perfect place - on the mountainside – for super-sweet doorstep skiing!

When you go to Vallandry, you’re in store for some vibrant, fun times, full of classic ski-style atmosphere that caters to all types of people looking for different things from a ski holiday. There’s plenty of bars for you to get stuck into some memorable après sessions, and then there are the restaurants too.

When it comes to eating out in Vallandry, you’re spoilt for choice, so we have fine-tuned things, bringing you some inside info on five of our favourite places to check out when you’re here. So, in no particular order, here’s five tasty places to head to once you’ve finished shredding it on the mountain!

La Bergerie de Raphaël

Offering a host of classic French food that comes at the highest standard, this awesome restaurant’s inside a beautiful old building which sits ideally just across the piste from the Hucksters chalet. You’re in for Savoyard gastronomy at its most delicious! Carve your way down to the terrace for lunch and a few après ski drinks, or for the loved-up couples; enjoy the cosy dining room for a special dinner one evening.

La Coeur de Vall

The La Coeur de Vall gives you nothing short of excellent French dining but with a modern twist. Centrally located in the village next to Sherpa (the local supermarket), there’s an enticing terrace for lunch complete with a view that looks down the valley. The bright and modern dining room here is one of the most popular places to get something to eat, so atmosphere is a sure bet, but so is having to book a table. A special meal, that won’t disappoint!

L’Adress

L’Adress makes our list with ease, and you’ll see why when you visit. There’s superb pizza on offer, and a Savoyard menu too. L’Adress has some of the most impressive prices on the mountain, which, paired with its central location in the village beside the Vallandry lift, means you should definitely be paying this place a visit while you’re here! Another prime location for terrace lunches and decent après ski drinks, as well as takeaway pizzas too, if you fancy one. The friendly staff help to make L’Adress a hit for visitors, so booking a table is advisable if you’re keen on heading for lunch or dinner here.

Chez Felix

A cool place to check out that’s known to never let the taste buds down thanks to its fantastic range of savoury and sweet crêpes, traditional Savoyard options, including of fondue, raclette and pierrades. If there’s a few of you tearing up the slopes, then Chez Felix’s large sociable dining area might be a good place to go and grab a few drinks and something to eat. Fancy a drink before or after eating, or maybe a swifty before heading back to the chalet before dinner then the bar in Chez Felix is ideally located as it’s just five minutes’ walk from our chalet!

Bar Mont Blanc

The Bar Mont Blanc is a renowned place for visitors to go to with its scrumptious menu, filled with a range of pizzas and burgers, as well as lots of other things to fill you up before the partying starts! You can find a large sun terrace here that is perfect for lunches and snacks, and we can’t not mention the happy hour après ski. Oh, and The Mont Blanc happens to be right next door to the chalet, so you won’t have to miss out on the fun and friendly atmosphere with lots of sports on Sky and regular live music evenings…if we need you, we’ll know where to find you!

Customer Reviews

We just wanted to say, we had the most marvellous time in the Mont Blanc recently. We were very happy in the Petit Mont Blanc Annexe & the staff were absolutely fantastic. They all went out of their way to ensure we had a fantastic holiday.

By dispensing with things such as towels and complimentary toiletries (bring your own) and guaranteed en suite bathrooms, Hucksters has managed to create accommodation that is definitely communal and cheap but in that no-frills way that makes you feel pretty smug at the money you are saving. It has ...

If you're looking for 5* accommodation where chalet girls wash your feet and sing you to sleep, just stop reading now. If you're not one of the privileged elite, but still want to see snow once or twice a year, head here. I cannot really fault any aspect of the holiday. If you want a low cost skiin...

The staff were more like friends than employees and knew the area very well. Can't fault them. They sorted an issue with my wife's ski pass with as little stress as was possible. To start your day of skiing one had only to walk about 20m from the door, pop your skis on and off you go. You could eit...

This is the 4th year we have stayed at Mont Blanc, we have opted for the en suite accommodation in PMB. If you are looking for 5 star luxury look else where as you will be disappointed, if however, you are looking for a fun friendly atmosphere where you can wear slippers or ski boots for a week then...
