LODGE REPRESENTATIVE
Report to Lodge Manager
Job Purpose Summary
Responsible for providing guests with the best holiday experience while ensuring that all aspects of the Chalet run smoothly.
Key responsibilities and Accountabilities
Hucksters resort teams work together to provide the best holiday experience for their guests. This requires staff, to be highly flexible in their approach to their work. The following is an outline of responsibilities and accountabilities for this position.
- Be the face of the company, welcoming guests, giving speeches and communicating resort information, Make sure resort literature is available and the displays are up to date and tidy.
- In conjunction with the Lodge Manager, organise lift passes, ski school and equipment hire, take payments, and organise a full Après ski programme and evening entertainment.
- Daily, ensure that all lodges are fully clean, along with the bedrooms and bathrooms. Ensure that all meals are organised and delivered in a clean and hygienic manner, and the nightly clean down is performed properly.
- Meet guests on a daily basis to answer any questions and solve any problems. Hold office hours to allow guests to come and talk to you.
- Be prepared where necessary to ski companion guests for up to 2 days per week providing a fun and safe service.
- On changeover day, assist where required, but ensure that your lodge is fully clean and all rooms are fully changed for our new guests. Make sure that adequate linen has arrived and the dirty linen has been sorted and ready for collection.
- Cover other positions if and when required.

CHALET ASSISTANT
Report to Lodge Manager
Job Purpose Summary
Responsible for providing guests with a comfortable and clean environment and assisting in food service.
Key responsibilities and Accountabilities
Hucksters resort teams work together to provide the best holiday experience for their guests. This requires staff, to be highly flexible in their approach to their work. The following is an outline of responsibilities and accountabilities for this position.
- Daily clean Bedrooms, bathrooms and public areas
- Lay tables and serve breakfast and evening meals in a safe and hygienic manner
- On changeover day fully clean all bedrooms and change linen.
- Monitor linen supplies, ensure linen is ready for collection, and the clean linen arrives before Saturday.
- Store linen and cleaning products, in a safe and orderly fashion. Check stocks of cleaning products and communicate requirements to your lodge manager
- Answer guests questions in a polite and appropriate manner and find out answers if not known.
- Help keep all the path ways free of snow.
- Cover other positions in case of absence.

CHALET CHEF
Report to Lodge Manager
Job Purpose Summary
Responsible for providing guests with, a cooked breakfast, afternoon tea and a 3 course evening meal 6 days a week.
Key responsibilities and Accountabilities
Hucksters resort teams work together to provide the best holiday experience for their guests. This requires staff, to be highly flexible in their approach to their work. The following is an outline of responsibilities and accountabilities for this position.
- Plan weekly menu for breakfast, afternoon tea and a 3 course evening meal, including provision for food requirements for vegetarians, allergies and children’s meals.
- Work with other kitchen staff to prepare and provide meal service throughout the resort and any additional accommodation.
- Communicate menu with chalet assistants and oversee food service.
- Work in a safe manner, making sure that high levels of hygiene, and cleaning standards are maintained.
- Shop weekly controlling food budgets and stock levels. Place orders and liaise with suppliers.
- When required, organise the provision of packed lunches.
- On changeover day, help out if necessary and when required.
- Cover other positions in case of absence.
