With a pre-season snow fall and the snow cannons working at full capacity there were more than enough runs open as the season commenced......
16th December - Th season started with some huge party nights with Simon Retter and his friends. Simon had a belated 18th Birthday party with a picnic on the piste overlooking the beautiful Meribel valley. David Dunn and his extended family almost became part of the team with an 11 day holiday.
20th December - Christmas was celebratd in style with a feast prepared by the Hucksters team and the Stanning family returning for a 2nd year. The Boxing day quiz had the junior guests making their debuts as Quiz Masters... and what was Andew up to with a piece of wood, saw and chisel?
27th December - New year saw the Rodliff party return to La Tania, it's almost like their second home. New year celebrations of a torch lit descents and fire works set the scene and the Hucksters guests and staff put on fancy dress to see in the New Year. Fresh snow started the year and even persuaded a couple of guests to stay a little longer than planned. The week's party made a credible effort in a challenge to see how many vertical kilometers they could ski in 3 hours, while the Leeks and Browns enjoyed a joint family holiday.
6th January- Tim Pratt set a record to beat by boarding to the Three Valleys 4th valley and back in a day, covering over 50km....can you beter it?? But watch out in the future - there has been some impressive skiing from the younger guests in the Matharu / Relf party.
Jeremy Kingston's group turned up in resort ready to make an impression, with T-shirts printed, super hero fancy dress and enough Vodka to last them the whole year....They did not disappoint.
